What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women aged 18 to 30. The program is part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. With Rotaract you can: · Develop professional and leadership skills · Serve your community and promote goodwill · Gain an understanding of the needs, problems, and opportunities in your community and worldwide On 13 March 1968, the Rotaract Club of the University of North Carolina, sponsored by the Rotary Club of North Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, was the first Rotaract club to receive its official charter. Although this club is recognized as the first Rotaract club, Rotarians have been sponsoring similar organizations for young adults since the early 1920s. Today, Rotaract continues to experience phenomenal growth. There are currently more than 7,500 Rotaract clubs in more than 155 countries, with an estimated membership of more than 173,000 Rotaractors. As the program continues to grow, Rotaractors repeatedly show that they are prepared for "Fellowship Through Service."

About Rotaract club of Ulaanbaatar

Rotaract club of Ulaanbaatar is a first Rotaract club of Mongolia. It was founded in 1999 under the guidance of Rotary club of Ulaanbaatar, and has over 30 members aged 18-30. Our members are young people who are working and studying in different fields and have the same interest to contribute in international community.
Our mission is to serve community by developing projects and promote leadership skills of young people.
Our meetings held on every Wednesday with a guest speaker, who has experience to share with our members. We have politicians, famous artists and businessmen as a guest speaker.
