Mongolian rotaractors participated for volunteers to Blue Sky Project between 28th Jun to 2nd Jul

24 members of Rotaract clubs in Mongolia have been completed to build one house to homelessness during 5 days initiated by Habitat in Mongolia.

Habitat for Humanity Mongolia is a non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat welcomes people of all faiths to its work. Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and from the world by building simple, decent and affordable housing in partnership with people in need. Since 2000, Habitat has built 326 houses in Mongolia.

Although this club is recognized as the first Rotaract club, Rotarians have been sponsoring similar organizations for young adults since the early 1920s. Today, Rotaract continues to experience phenomenal growth. There are currently more than 7,500 Rotaract clubs in more than 155 countries, with an estimated membership of more than 173,000 Rotaractors. As the program continues to grow, Rotaractors repeatedly show that they are prepared for "Fellowship Through Service."

About Rotaract club of Ulaanbaatar

Rotaract club of Ulaanbaatar is a first Rotaract club of Mongolia. It was founded in 1999 under the guidance of Rotary club of Ulaanbaatar, and has over 30 members aged 18-30. Our members are young people who are working and studying in different fields and have the same interest to contribute in international community.
Our mission is to serve community by developing projects and promote leadership skills of young people.
Our meetings held on every Wednesday with a guest speaker, who has experience to share with our members. We have politicians, famous artists and businessmen as a guest speaker.
